Who we are

Pirra is the trading name of Noah [SURNAME], a sole trader based in [TOWN], United Kingdom. In this notice, "we" and "us" means that business. You can request our full postal address for service of documents by emailing the address below.

Enquiries through this website

When you use our contact form we collect your name, your company name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, an indication of how many quotes you write each month, and whatever you write in the message box.

We use this to reply to you and to work out whether what we do suits your business. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — you have asked us to get in touch, and replying is what you would expect. We keep enquiries for two years and then delete them, unless you become a client.

If you become a client

We hold your business contact details, the commercial terms we agreed, and the information needed to run the service for you — your rates, your document templates, your past quotes and your standard wording. We keep this for as long as we work together and for six years afterwards, which is the period we are required to keep business records.

Information about your customers

This is the part worth reading carefully if you are a client.

When you upload a site survey, it may contain personal information about your own customer — their name, the property address, and whatever is visible or said in the recording. For that information you are the data controller and we are your processor. We only handle it to produce your quote, on your instructions, under a written data processing agreement.

To do that, your material passes through these sub-processors:

• Google (Gemini API) — analyses the survey recording
• Anthropic (Claude API) — drafts the quote text
• Render — hosts the application
• Google Workspace — delivers the finished quote by email

Uploaded recordings are deleted from our servers and from the analysis service once processing finishes. We do not use your material, your rates or your customers' information to train any model, and our providers' commercial terms do not permit them to either.

We will tell you before adding or changing a sub-processor, so you can object.

Information we gather about businesses

We research construction companies to decide who to approach. We use publicly available sources — company websites, the Companies House register, business directories and published reviews. Where that includes a named person, such as a business owner, our lawful basis is legitimate interests in offering a relevant business service.

If you would rather we did not hold your details, email hello@pirra.co.uk and we will delete them and add you to our suppression list so we do not contact you again.

Who else sees your information

Form submissions are processed by Netlify, who host this site. Email is handled by Google Workspace. Payments and business records go through our bank and our accountant. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where your information is held

Some of our providers are based outside the UK, mainly in the United States. Where information is transferred, it is protected by the safeguards required under UK data protection law, such as the International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, ask us to restrict how we use it, ask for a copy in a portable format, or object to us using it. Email hello@pirra.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled things you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or call 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

Cookies

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use analytics. Nothing here follows you around the internet.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant and you are a client, we will tell you directly.
